Burning out your camera

DO NOT use (or check twice) any ribbons other than the ones that were supplied with the cameras.

Some Chinese cameras have INVERTED (or “mirrored”) ribbon-cables, as the correct ribbon cables on the photo below. The inverted cable (RIGHT) has both “blue” shields on the same end of the ribbon (bottom), but ribbons from original (LEFT) cameras have one blue shield on each end of the ribbon.
